How many times do we pray for God to open doors, not realizing the 'doors' He has already called us to walk through?

If the choices we make every day reflect who we are and what we believe, then each day is an open door -- to share our faith, to live out love, and to make a difference for Christ in a world that desperately needs real life!

Once when I found myself with too little to do, I asked God to provide me with a fulfilling craft project--something I could do to help people. I could do this in my down time. Well, three weeks later(when I had a long list of things to do) an acquaintance came over for dinner to discuss an event she would be catering for me and off-handedly mentioned knitting bandages for lepers. She was sure the Lord had lead her to mention this, but she didn't know why. I didn't enlighten her. My need to fill time and desire to help people had both evaporated. The door was open, but the willingness to enter had left.
